About the Course

Introduction to business cycles, the challenges they pose to managers and investors, and ethical dilemmas that can be encountered along the way. Concepts of values, morality, consumer rights, and corporate social responsibility, will be weighed against consumer expectations for integrity, honesty, and transparency in all levels of their commerce as well as for society in general.


Learner Outcomes

  • Understand how to interpret economic data to help define where in a business cycle the economy is at a given time

  • Learn how business cycles impact the economy and investments

  • Gain awareness as to unethical behavior and how it adversely impacts those who perpetrate it
